Due to school closures because of COVID-19, children who are eligible for free and reduced lunch can get up to $365 in food benefits in addition to the food distribution sites. Deadline to apply for the P-EBT card is June 30, 2023. Families can call the EBT customer service at 877-328-9677 for help setting up their card. Attention: OUSD Nutrition Services will be transitioning into summer meal service. Beginning next week on Monday, June 8, through the summer, breakfast, lunch and supper service will continue at the following locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30-1:00 PM:
Mission Elementary, Libby Elementary, and North Terrace School. Supper meals will no longer be provided after Tuesday, June 30th. As a reminder meal services are still being provided during the stay at home order and are provided free for students.

Ms. Hatfield created a counseling website for the students and parents to stay connected and provide the community with social-emotional lessons, tips, and resources. Our counselor will be posting several social-emotional related activities for students each week. There is also a student and parent resource section with helpful articles on different topics; some with videos of Ms. Hatfield doing some breathing and mindfulness activities. Here are some resources OUSD have developed to assist you: We have launched a new distance learning website that includes educational resources for parents and guardians, social-emotional supports, homework packets, and access to digital programs.
Starting March 9th through April 9th, parents/guardians will be able to participate in a California Healthy Kids online survey. If you do not have access online or would prefer to take the survey on paper, please come to the front office, and we will provide you with the paper survey. The survey is voluntary and anonymous; all questions apply to this school only. Please participate because your feedback is vital. See instructions.

You are invited to attend classes meant for ELAC or Spanish Speaking families. There will be a different topic every month such as computer classes on how to log into Aeries.
